Came across this eyelet Peter Pan collar top at (where else?) JCrew. What do you think about the rounded collar? Sweet, or too child-like?
I’m on the fence. This Silk-collar tee is, as described, sweet-meets-chic. Could be fun paired with a broken in pair of jeans, minimal makeup and red lipstick. Or a simple cardigan, a skirt and strappy heels.
Kate Spade has the collared look goin on with her charming little Susan sweater. I’m liking the blue.
These days stripes always catch my eye. They are everywhere…
At first I thought the collar on this striped merino sweater was sequin. Piqued my interest. Then I realized those aren’t sequins, but tiny flowers. I think I’ll pass… BUT
Did you notice the ah-mazing Michael Kors Tonne leather clutch paired with those stripes? Looove the funky tassel. Too bad this little beauty will set you back $695! sigh. Back to JCrack (because it always comes back to JCrack), this sweater also caught my eye.
It’s kinda darling. A collection piece from the inspiration of Hugo Guinness, whose whimsical artwork I have admired since seeing a large collection of it at Watson Kennedy in Seattle. I posted about it here. The sweater is less expensive than the art, but still…
In my fashion fantasy land, I could wear these items just a couple of times for a very small fee, and then return them. Just dreaming.
Happy Saturday, friends!

Hey there! Cute post about the peter pan collars. My friend was just talking to me about this clutch actually and I remembered it when I read your post about the MK clutch. It’s from a website called Design Darling- she has cute home stuff too!
This one says it’s sold out but if I remember right, she used to have it in a different color (pink?) so maybe it is a piece that is continually in the shop? Don’t know but figured I’d pass it along since it is cheaper in case you were interested…http://www.designdarling.com/collections/leather-goods/products/foldover-clutch-tan
Katie, I just started perusing your link a little, and all I can say is
Uh oh…
